Watch: Figure’s 01 humanoids now working at BMW’s car plant in US
  • From what I understand this is the first time training of the system. It's brand new. Its going to take a while.

Some that would be analogous would be those arm robots. At the start they were very specific and I don't think very flexible at all. But when I looked at them going into a factory they are very general purpose machines. The manufacturers would come out and install them and make changes easily. They were also talking about how they would train people onsite to make some alterations, e.g. new box sizes.

Seeing as its using neural networks, they are meant to be general purpose machines right? I'm sure they must be more flexible than other types of systems.

The rich want low housing and high population because it makes their assets go up. Traditionally like silent generation, greatest generation and before affordable homes for the working class and the following generations was seen as an ideal that people were willing to die for. This ideal was largely realised with the boomers.

But the boomers then decided it is better if they have houses and no one else does because their wealth can go up and they can then make money like the land owners than their grandparents were kept in poverty by. Now they can do it to their children!

I honestly don't think it will be solved until the boomers die. Even then I wouldn't count on it. Too much effort to keep population increasing no matter the cost.

If I was PM I would end up get voted out by doing something drastic like trying to put through a land value tax and building a new city 1mill+ city maybe between Hull and Leeds. • You need to sort our bed time routine out.

Don't do anything in bed other than sleep (or sex). Go to bed try to sleep, if you don't sleep get up and go to another room and come back in half an hour, an hour whatever it takes. Try sleep again if that doesn't work after a bit get up again. I actually find going for a pee and trying again works surprisingly well. Take your TV out of your room, don't use your phone in bed, don't exercise in your bedroom and don't exercise late and night.

I really struggle looking at text I have written and seeing the mistakes. I have tried Samsung, openboard, gboard. None seem to fix the issue.

I'm willing to download anything as long as it's not a privacy concern. Is there any way to get what I want.

Today’s playbook on wind turbines is indeed “all too familiar” to European policymakers, said one EU diplomat, who was granted anonymity to discuss the imminent policy announcement.

The aim is to lower greenhouse gas emissions, and incentivise private investment, to encourage the growth of green industries and jobs: a new foundation for the US economy.

With a 10-year lifespan, and a cost originally estimated at $391bn (£310bn) but now predicted to reach over $1tn - the final figure is unknown - the IRA offers new and juicer tax credits, as well as loans and loan guarantees for the deployment of emissions reducing technology."

China is building more coal plants but might burn less coal

Some analysts think that China’s coal emissions have already peaked – or will peak in the next few years. We’ll have to wait and see if they’re right. But the fact that they can even suggest that a peak in coal use is coming, while China is adding more coal plants, seems contradictory.

Both points can be true, though. China could build more plants while burning less coal. It just has to run them less often. Based on data over the last decade or two, that’s exactly what’s happening.
