All the time. Links either 404 or are made up. If someone's vibin hard, copy/pasting, there's a non-zero chance to link out to something malicious "accidentally"
What flavor of Linux were you trying to install? My experience on endeavoros has been pretty plug and play. I imagine it would be similar on mint, Ubuntu, fedora, Debian. If it was Linux from scratch, yeah that's likely going to be frustrating.
Earlier this year when I made the switch as I was getting blue screens at least once a day while gaming. Initially to endeavoros with cinnamon, then switched to Hyprland.
There have been some fixes that make me wonder at what point am I tinkering vs implementing a fix that should be included in the base version of the Linux flavor... Many rabbit holes over the last 6 months, many more to come.
Is this considered "hardcore"? After the mobile apps bit the dust I left and never looked back. I don't like meta stuff because of privacy concerns. Fediverse only for me
Id be cautious about using sharpies on eggs. The shell is pourous. It looks like you're using a regular pen. You're probably fine but we avoid out of an abundance of caution
Not particularly unsafe. I've had to pull off during road trips either for food or emergency car maintenance in rural Louisiana and in Alabama. The Louisiana pit stop at a small garage in the middle of nowhere didn't make me feel unsafe, but the guys in the shop were unironically talking about how you could turn your Bluetooth on in order to see who around you has been vaccinated because their MAC address would show up.
In Alabama a ton of people were staring at me... I was like... Do I have something on my face? Oh, you just think it's weird that a Latino guy is in your small family restaurant for breakfast?
In South Carolina there were a bunch of dudes toting confederate flags, which was unsettling, but they didn't threaten me or anything.
I unfortunately live in a red state now to be close to family for a few years. I can't wait till I can move back to the PNW or Colorado to be closer to one of my brothers.
Have you tried downloading the AUR? Oh, it's not available in the AUR? What about the flat pack? The package name changed, but it's not available there either. It's an app image, but to get it to work you're going to need to switch your Nvidia drivers to DKMS. OK... So that didn't work, have you tried reinstalling dracut and ffmpeg?
I'm honestly surprised that more people don't come up with a weekday menu over the weekend. It can be simple, like you mentioned buns plus whatever. Simple meat, grain, veg is easy (frozen fish or fried tofu, rice/quinoa, and some broccoli or Brussels).
When all else fails... Breakfast tacos for dinner will do. Prefer egg and sausage, but I'll settle for egg and avocado with some hot sauce.
Hahahaha my org is trying to force service now down out throats, ugh make it stop, I'm dying
