His Israel support is likely all bought by AIPAC money. Our system has to get campaign finance reformed so badly. Money in politics has destroyed this country and made every politician have to capitulate to their donors or face primary challengers who can out spend them. A good example is last election when these tech bros straight up crushed Sherrod Brown who was merely skeptical of crypto. It’s the biggest obstacle to change.
Billionaires engineered all of this. The whole stock price over innovation mindset was to extract American wealth and cripple American power. They want no power to exist that can reign in their own power. The battle for equity never ends. The billionaires and their ghouls never stop. No, it’s brain dead to think you can oppose a corrupt entrenched power structure by taking your ball and going home. Elections alone won’t fix shit. Sitting them out to let in MAGA fascism definitely isn’t going to do it. Change takes decades, but if you give power to the people who will oppress harder and more readily, you are just ensuring more people get hurt in the process. The democrats at least bow to pressure some. Trump wants to shoot protestors and made sure to appoint people down with that. Exactly. Why can’t people vote for the lesser evil in the short term and push for change after the election too. There was no scenario where the protest vote didn’t give us a far worse option. As bad as Biden was on Gaza, he capitulated more than Trump ever will. Plus, one issue voting is just an insane mindset in a winner take all electoral system like America.

Gaza was fucked under either presidential option and we all knew that. Now we also get to enjoy getting fucked by Trump at home and hand the right the country. Other countries get to get bullied like Canada, Colombia, Greenland, Panama, and who knows who else and to what insane degree. Plus, Gaza will get to deal with a president that doesn’t bend to protest pressures at all and gives 0 fucks about humanitarian issues. We sure showed Biden for being an AIPAC puppet like the rest of the government. This is why the right has taken our government over. When no option has the desired outcome, sometimes you have to pick the lesser evil.
I guess it’s a matter of degrees like everything. If they have to give the appearance of privacy, they will concede towards privacy more than say Google who just fucks privacy on the bus in front of you. Unless you go 100% open Linux on every single device, which is hard for most people, you will have some compromises to make. I am still teaching myself Linux.

This is what I do. You have to be in one eco system at some level these days and Apple painted themselves into a corner with their privacy marketing. Rather only give info to one. Nothing a smart TV does can’t be done on my Apple TV plus Apple TV adds a lot of features if you are an Apple user on other devices.
