There's nothing wrong with using Reddit, Twitter, and other mainstream site still while being active on fediverse. 1 2
As much as I'm mad at reddit for the decision they made it's the only place that I've felt like I have any sort of community. I'm downloading the reddit app because I'm desperate for that feeling again.
