imagine a car company adding like another door or lock/2nd key you'd have to open/unlock every time. thats what those represent. we know the 95% of games don't need it. now for ones like paradox interactive games that have mod playlists support and is mostly utilitarian (they do have a little banner ad space for dlc etc), hell yeah thats fine, but when their just gross multi layer ads, odd trophy points shops/weird 2nd store front that smack of walled garden ecosystem shit those can fuck right off.
i mean im also someone who 99% of the time mod out intro/and dev splash screens to save seconds.
yall really should be more upset that its an RPG type game in the star wars universe with tons of interesting aliens and races + new unknown main characters.. but no you have to play as a milk toast human again. for a 70$ i expect there to be at least the "human" aliens. for a 130 though it would have to have playable ithorians, hutts, and B'omarr monks

i haven't been the same since my first snow storm in 71. Even now every time i close my eyes, i see the white blinding the darkness of thousands of snowflakes. Not that you could ever see those tiny snowflakes, mind you. They were fast and they knew their way around the cold air. i remembers the looks on those boy's faces when they walked into that village and... oh Jesus. i shouldn't think about that now. Sometimes i still hear Tex's slow southern drawl. i remember the smell of Brooklyn's cigarettes in the frozen air. He always had a pack of Luckys. But the boys are gone now... i know that. It's--it's just that i forget sometimes. And sometimes all it takes is the way a snowman yard decoration looks at me... just it makes me think. Sets me on edge. And i feels like I'm right back there... In the blizzard... In the whiteout..

The remake was announced in 2021.
TBH & IMO, sad to see but I'm actually a bit relieved because i was worried about what a KOTOR remake (not port) from Aspyr would even look like.
