That was a great game.
As a Kings fan, McDavid doing McDavid things depresses me.
As an American, watching your TV ads from SN streams makes me incredibly sad and it feels right y'all getting a proper win in the face of so much cultural/national nonsense.

Like for all of the first line or two, then they got drowned out by people singing along. And honestly it only sounded like a hundred or so were doing it. Boston folks stepped up.
My wife absolutely hates that clip/scene if for nothing more than I laugh loud AF every single time I watch it. Waking kids and neighbors alike haha.

That's how I felt with Quick getting traded.
Smyth legit helped get the Kings to the playoffs after a long drought and I'll always spread the good word of Ryan for many, many years to come because of it.
I'll admit I clenched cheeks with that break.
That was my beef with Canada in the first game. So much quality in the front of the net but like it was controlled so-to-speak. You gotta screen, toss some slop at angles, and hit the rebounds far side. Shake that shit up.
We only had him for like a season and a half but I had a ton of fun not having to deal with him on the other side of the ice. I was super sad he wasn't there the next season when we won the first cup. Would have been EPIC getting him one.
Guy is just too good.
And that's how you beat a good goalie. You Ryan Smyth the shit out of em and set up a tent in front of the crease.
