I know one! I decided to boycott other stuff because I knew I likes their sandwiches too much lol.
Ya, probably not. But it's a shame to see so many people enjoy this game and now not be able to enjoy it. And I haven't even played it, I've just been thinking about it and seeing these posts on Lemmy.
No, but I could see the misunderstanding. When I said "here", I meant on Lemmy. I was just commenting on the people from Israel I've met so far on Lemmy. And how I also would love to see some more varied opinions from Israelis here on Lemmy, because the few I've run into were pretty pro-genocide.
Can Sony implement PSN accounts in more countries? Seems like this would fix it lol.
You should look into why they're surrounded by hostile nations. Here's some hints: Look into things Hannah Arendt said about starting a settler colonialist colony in the Middle East that required kicking out the locals into neighboring countries who will then hate them and how that is a bad idea. Einstein even said the same warning, about how Israel will just become militarized, and will start conflating miliarization and Jewishness and nationalism together, as a requirement of keeping this settler colony together (because it requires active occupation and death to maintain, meaning it will always have enemies, until they complete the genocide, I suppose).
I've seen a couple and they were mostly Zionists defending the genocide. So far, they haven't reflected well on their state, but if there's anyone who actually doesn't like the atrocities committed by Israel in Israel, I'd be curious to see if they exist here. The only one I've seen in articles is that one who sent to jail instead of participate in the IDF.
Good point. You think he didn't really try hard enough to find another director? Maybe face up after like Spielberg and one other guy probably?
Thank you. I was thinking the same thing. How could they not show any in an article dedicated to his life and legacy?
Thanks! That's good to know. Maybe I can trick her into watching with me with these recommendation quotes in hand lol.
Haha exactly. Let Lucas do what he wanted to do, which is clearly focus on the new special effects technology, helping with alien and monster creation maybe, and being a kind of universe bible on set. Everything else I would've let this hypothetical other director and writer team handle. I'm so frustrated with what could've been now lol.
If my partner is ambivalent about Star Wars, but liked Battlestar Galactica and Game of Thrones, will she like Andor?
He originally wanted someone else to direct them. Sometimes I dream of what they could have been if he succeeded in getting another director to pick up the mantle , and that director also brought along a good scriptwriter. We know a lot of those people can act, so I bet with proper direction and writing, they could have actually been good.
Happy Star Wars Day!
I try sometimes but as you can tell by my history, I often fail. I need people to populate the other communities more, though, so I can avoid politics lol. Find other communities and comment or post, try different sorts, like scaled or new, instead of just Top or Active.
This guy's videos are usually pretty good. They got a quick pace, good editing, and explain things really well. They are a socialist so they have a bias in that way, but they'd be the first to admit it and to say that every creator has a bias of some sort or another.
I didn't know there are community challenges. What a cute idea. Can't wait to do some voting! Is there a megathread anywhere where I can look at past community challenges?
That organized part is the hard part. Everyone is so atomized.
He's had lots of time to reign him in and he hasn't at all. They've just given them more money, weapons, and support. Until there's been actual actions and not just words, on this particular issue, they are the only exact same.
Until then, the threat of a Trump Presidency hopefully impresses upon Biden the need to do something, anything, other than what he's been doing (a wag of his finger every now and then and that's it).
I don't want Trump back. You don't want Trump back. It's better to spend your energy trying to push Biden on this issue as soon as possible.
