  • For a class project in college, I made a 5-disk raid-0 out of floppy drives and demo'd the performance by playing a compressed version of "don't copy that floppy" for the class. Thankfully my lecturer had a sense of humor lol.

    • A friend of mine looking to download episodes of a show available on Amazon Prime video to store on his Jellyfin server for preservation. Is there a guide for this anywhere that they can reference?

  • This is only true for weaker levels of widevine. The highest tiers of widevine security won't release the content to a Linux system at all because it cannot encrypt the entire chain, for exactly this reason. Netflix and Amazon currently support the weaker methods, but Disney+ already requires the more restrictive implementation. It's only a matter of time before others follow suit
