Should I use chromium based browsers or firefox?
  • That has been the best solution so far for vertical tabs but grouping needs some work.

but to be clear it is not great compared to edge.

  • Should I use chromium based browsers or firefox?
  • Edge's vertical tabs and grouping. Every solution on Firefox feels half-baked.

  • Ohh yes sleeping tabs is great too.

  • Switching from Chrome to Firefox? Here Are Some Tips.
  • For me, Edge's vertical tabs and grouping is so seamless that it is necessary for my workflow. I have tried so many alternatives on Firefox, but there is always something that makes it feel so half-baked.

  • What would get you "back to the office"?
  • Really, the only option. Either more pay or more free time. The amount of savings in not having to commute means going back to the office is a pay cut.

  • Brave will not add Web Integration support
  • I really hope Microsoft sees the light. Edge is the best browser for my productivity. Can't work without their implementation of vertical tabs and tab groups.

Every so often I try it out on firefox and any option is just still not ideal.

  • Where do you go on Lemmy for reliable news and politics?
  • I subscribe to WSJ, NYT, WAPO, and my local newspaper. You need to read all sides of a story in order to get a reliable take.

Also recommend: Memeorandum to see multiple sources to same story.

  • Having used many alternatives including feedly that is mentioned below, I highly recommend inoreader.

  • Do you prefer Android or iOS, and why?
  • I prefer Android but am using a iPhone 13 mini. If imessage was on android I would drop it in a heartbeat. Apple's platform is amazing and if you are all in on it then you can prosper. The second you try to use an apple product or service different than apple intends, you will have a bad time.

I support apple for their privacy and update stances but I do not like their unwillingness to embrace other platforms.
