Exceptional words from Mr. Spurs.

I hope he gets picked for the Spanish national side soon.

There's a childlike innocence about Sonny that's so refreshing 💙

@beingreal @hallenbeck Harsh but witty, and I laughed.

Marcesa's happy with him and vis versa. Can't have felt good to be marginalised. We do luv flashy play - why we're all in luv with Angeball!
Hope he continues to thrive with Leicester and wish him well.
Yep, Benny playing for Uruguay uses/refines different physicalities to Angeball.
Nevertheless, these games refine endurance, tackles, start/stop, etc., but vitally for a player off pitch for so long, it's a self-confidence affirmation boost.
Knowing his physicality's close to pre-injury range, gives Ange confidence in handing Benny more game time/ responsiblity. How and when - in Ange we trust!
Benny can expect pre-match day 1, 2 ,3 ,4 Angeball training tweaks!
So happy for Benny. Must feel great after such a long recovery. Selfishly, he's coming back closer to being match fit for #COYS 🥳
Yep the evidence's in, Messi's shirt & Romero's shorts 🤩
Opened my eyes to the physical effect, consecutive changes of coaches/game plans, have on players.
Interesting how players themselves hone and develop their physicality, naturally, as a backbone to their skillsets.
If it ain't broke don't fix it👍
It's like owning a fleet of Ferraris and driving them round the Monaco Grand Prix circuit every week of the season,😅
Really informative and enjoyable, tks 🙏
Nice one Sonny (& come back injury free, pls)
So much upcoming talent - Donely's truly gifted.
@hallenbeck @HowSwayy
You know I think I've selective memory issues for games under Nuno - PTSD?!?!
Thanks for this.
For what it's worth, there's also a psychologìcal downside to constantly being physically fit for every game.
He's getting the best care available. Not operating seems a good indicator and it's always a better long-term prognosis, when the body heals itself.
Honestly, not expecting him to start a full game until '24/25. Perhaps come on as a late sub, end of this season.
Mentally, will be very frustrating for him but given the real camaraderie this squad has, Vic, Cuti and Udogie will be the best morale cheerleaders ever😅. His family appear really supportive too.
🤞🤞🤞
Tks, a well timed reminder he's Spurs and will be back!

This is where the power of words fails utterly. Just picture the expression of incredulity on my face right now!
