Baldur's Gate 3 Topped 5.2 Million Units Sold on Steam, Says Belgian Embassy
  • Yes, it's certainly not bug free, there are bugs that need to be fixed. Worst persistent one I've had is that a Warlock 4/Sorcerer 8 multiclass I have always tries to upcast all warlock spells (like Hex or Misty Step) with their highest level slot, which are Sorcerer spell slots. Very annoying and not worth.

That said, I would not discourage anyone from getting this game on the basis that it has some bugs. I doubt most new players would know how deal with multiclassing bugs, and probably would be multiclassing in the first place.

  • Bill Barr says he’s willing to testify against Trump at Jan. 6 trial
  • Ugh.... I hadn't thought about this specific asset of Barr's tenure as AG for a while. If you read the Mueller report, it was scathingly bad for Trump, and the parts that were redacted were almost categorically things that would appear to have been bad for Trump, based on contextual clues. Mueller should've been more forward with the findings of his report so the Republicans didn't get their chance to sweep it under the rug like they did.

  • Trump was just indicted for trying to steal the 2020 election
  • The only state crimes are the original indictments for perjury, which if you read the article, you will see those are the least compelling charges. The last two sets of indictments are from the DoJ and are considered very sound.

  • Official Reddit announcement posts now follow a well-defined archetype. The latest accessibility announcement is just the latest example.
  • I say for anyone who is still frequently using Reddit at this point, let's post friendly replies to try and lure responses from the admins on these threads, then after they respond, change your question to something that makes their response look like something an asshole would say.

  • Hey Satan, how's it going?

  • Google is already pushing WEI(DRM Webpage) into Chromium
  • Digital Rights Management. Usually DRM agreements are imbedded in the terms and conditions no one reads when they install software. It usually gives the software vendor the right to monitor your use of the software in real time via the internet.

Within the context of Chrome and other Chromium based web browsers, this means that Google will be able to monitor your web browsing in a new way any time you're using a browser based on Chrome/Chromium.

  • What is the difference between Active and Hot on your Lemmy feed?
  • I'm on KBin.

Active is either brand new threads like this one (at the time of posting this comment) or older threads with lots of actual activity in terms of comments and upvotes.

Hot is generally more consistent in showing threads from within the last 24 hours, including threads with smaller amounts of activity.

  • Ancient Roman folding pocket knife
  • Romans loved and would daily carry strange little gadgets all around. Gadgets that were basically multitools. Commonly integrated tools would be things they could use for their trade, but then they'd also have a spoon attachment for when it was lunch time, for example.

  • What's the first game you fire up after an upgrade?
  • Pioneer, Ficsit will be upping all personal quotas related to Project Assembly. Currently 100% of your projects are related to Project Assembly. Projection of average quota increases will be directly related to the upgrades made on your new personal computer.

  • Netflix says people just kind of rolled over and accepted the password sharing crackdown
  • I also think it will take more than one month to understand the data. For example, my wife and I cancelled our Netflix subscription months or maybe even years ago at this point. We now just subscribe to one service at a time. This month, we happened to renew our Netflix subscription, so we absolutely get counted in the numbers Netflix is reporting right now, even though we canceled the new monthly subscription pretty much immediately after we signed back up.

  • Correct, Charon has a very low density compared to its size which is one of the reasons it's such a large body, yet not totally spherical.
