The best example is the minimum wage increase in Missouri that recently got put into law. Sinema killed the federal bill a few years ago but somehow deep, red state Americans are not progressive? People love progressive policies, they just don't like the words associated with it.
Anyone that brought up your points earlier this year was dog-piled and being called a tankie or Russian shill. God forbid a powerless user on this website brought up an ounce of criticism towards the party or else it was as if every loyalist was experiencing their own personal 9/11
To add to this, I saw a Fox News exit poll during the day where immigration was brought up as a topic of concern. About 55% of responses were in favor of making immigration into the US easier while 45% said it was a concern and should be made more strict. The Democratic party lets Conservatives control the narrative and are surprised when their appeasements fall short of expectations within both parties.
I want my insurance to defederate
Yeah, State Farm needs to get their shit together
Never realized South Korea, Taiwan, or other SEA countries are not democracies but dictatorships.

That's one of them, yep. Another one IIRC is a volume warning when setting it too high
But in fairness to Google, Samsung copied them (and Apple) when they yeeted the headphone jack /s
Absolutely insane how Google was light years ahead of Samsung's Touchwiz but are now borrowing ideas from them
Hopefully power mods stay on reddit for as long as possible. I got banned from r/California for asking what an earthquake in Southern Mexico had to do with the state
You forgot Option 1's injection of bleach in order to annihilate covid that 100% was a hoax but a threat because China :)
I remember playing Destiny's Alpha version when I was invited to it. It was a fun experience but sucked when the game was mostly a let down for the first year or so.
Man since when was early to mid 20's considered old 😔
As far as what others have commented, I prefer to never touch Linux with a 10 ft limbo pole if I absolutely don't have to (school, work, etc). Obviously this has exceptions such as Android and other Unix offshoots. Maybe some common groundwork other users have is that we all like tech and are willing to try new experiments even if it doesn't work out right away.
Yes it is :)
I regret my Reddit user since it used a slur that I no longer want to associate with but now I also regret this user since I came up with a better one a few days ago
Oh well
It's difficult to replace Reddit considering it was/is this combination of multiple communities wrapped in a neat little bow. But lacking an ease of access on mobile and blatant disregard for 3rd party apps is what has caused my own browsing on the site to drop considerably during my free time.
Hopefully as time goes on and with 3rd party apps under development, Lemmy can begin competing with Reddit since this is a genuinely fun site.
