I think I'm going to give up on Kbin. Every time in enter it's full of spam, so is not worth posting anything since is going to be buried in spam anyways
cool, thanks

now shows the 404 and that's the url that I use by default, because I prefer newest to go first
Could we sabotage the LLM training so the data became worthless?
Like adding to our comments stuff like "2+2=5" "Abraham Lincoln discovered America" and whatever silly statement you can think of

yeah, I spend more time downvoting a blocking spammers than anything else
The thing is they literally took pokemon 3D assets, edited them a little and that's all
Because pals look like this

but now IN 3D!!!
Pals

They took Serperior head+ Milotic body and Primarina hair
https://nintenduo.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Palworld-Plagio-Pokemon-03-1024x576.webp
self-explanatory
For the thumbnail image, they took meoth face, purugly body and that's it
These designs are not "inspired" they simply imported the assets from a pokemon game on blender or something, used "copy and paste" for different body parts and that's it, job done that's their completely original creature, totally not copied
oh, god, dropbox again?
it wouldn't have sold millions of units
People started to sell their steam accounts that owned the game and keys for the game for hundreds of dollars when it was announced the game was some bad that it was going to be removed from steam
If something is popular it will sell, the quality does not matter. You have the best example in Pokemon itself
No one will know what you're looking for better than you, but people have been making games inspired by Pokemon for a long time now.
A Pokemon clone with high production values made in Japan. Or if it's not made in Japan one that uses it own art style, I simply can't stand the "Fake anime" aesthetic that most indies use, like they learned to draw using this as refference
Think of Shin Megami Tensei (but not SMT V, that one sucks, they removed the dungeon crawling and the puzzles)
As far as I can tell The Day Before was overhyped early and people bought it because of the marketing
https://www.reddit.com/r/TheDayBefore/comments/lwaach/people_keep_saying_its_a_scam_whats_the_scam/
That's a 3 years old post. Everybody knew it was a scam back then. to the point the studio released "We are not a scam, trust me bro" statements (which made it more obvious it was a scam)
I don't remember hearing about it before
Internet has been talking about "pokemon with guns" for 2 years or so since the developers were already famous because they launched a "Breath of the Wild" knock off (Craftopia) that also sold well (not at the same level of palworld, but for being the first title of a brand new indie studio it sold really well)
The problem with TemTem is that it's an always online game, if the servers are turned off you won't be able to play, not even the single player campaign so it's a hard pass.
And the art style of both games are not my cup of tea, the do a disservice selling me the game.
Pokémon with guns wouldn't have gotten millions of sales on its own
The day before sold millions (but this one was refunded by millions too) and everybody and their mom knew it was a scam since it was announced like 2 or 3 years ago. Internet is weird, if something becomes viral it will sell, the quality does not matter, people just wants to be in
I don't thinks so. It popular because "pokemon with guns" became a viral meme which sucks.
A a discontent pokemon fan myself I would love someone to make a pokemon clone since Game Freak is not really interested in doing good pokemon games anymore. But "Ark Survival Evolved with knockoff pokemon skins instead of dinosaurs" is not what I want
You can still do it
More > More from domain > press the block icon
The last Pokemon game I played was Y. It was largely the same game as Blue and Gold
Except they removed all traces of dungeons/caves (they are simple hallways with no exploration) and puzzles
I just block those accounts, we as users cannot do much more, I think
Today we got a huge wave of spam accounts
If it's so sad, developers could, you know, stop developing for iOS
Idk if they are phased out in my country, but I have never seen people using them (only in American movies, but not irl) or even talking about them, not even in the 90s. Using them it sound so archaic and ancient
The claw was the way of playing Monster Hunter on the PSP
I want a new PC in the foreseeable future, so here I am asking for advice
Here's some basic info about my current build \-Processor: i7-7700 \-RAM: 32 GB DDR4 (originally they were 16GB, but one module died and I had to buy new ram modules) \-Graphic Card: RTX 3060 (originally it was the GTX 1060 3GB but it died too) \-Motherboard: Asus Z270H \-Case: Zalman Z11 plus. I hate it, it's ugly, I did not chose it (they didn't had in stock the one I bought and gave me that one instead) and cleaning it is a pain in the ass
I'm planning in changing teams, leaving Nvidia, Intel and Windows behind for AMD and Linux
I can't afford a high end PC, but it will be a gaming PC, so let's stay in the middle (more or less in line of what my current build was 6-7 years ago)
The thing is Idk much about AMD (I've been inside the Nvidia bubble for too long), are they going to launch new hardware (procesors and graphic cards) soon? should I wait? will the wait be worth? (yeah, sorry. those are the eternal questions, I know never is the right moment to upgrade)
I DON'T have any interest in most AAA graphic intensive games (like GTA VI) there are some exceptions, (like the next Monster Hunter) but I rarelly play AAA games (In general I'm more into a A or AA games) so here it is possible to cut some corners a little
Ok, those questions were a little bit generic and I can investigate on my own, you can ignore them, but I have some questions a little bit more specific
I have a PCIe 3.0 NVME M.2 SSD and a Samsumg EVO 870 EVO (Sata 2.5'') I'll like to reuse in the new build. would it be possible? are new motherboads (with PCIe 5 or 6) backwards compatible? (asking about the M.2 SSD that uses PCIe 3.0 mainly, the other one is a normal Sata SSD) I plan to buy a newer (and faster) M.2 SSD too, but the extra storage is always welcome even if it's slower
About the case I just want a simple case, easy to clean and as silent as possible (so the bigger the fans the better) with plenty of room inside so it's easy to work with it when I need to do some maintenance like cleaning or replacing something, I don't need RGB nor a glass window nor all the fancy stuff so what do you recommend?
Another dilemma I have is the screen, it's so old it it only has a DVI port!! (SyncMaster BX2335) but still works, is full HD and its size is 23'' I don't have room for a much bigger screen so idk if 1440p or 4k screens are worth, tbh.

Distro: EndeavourOS Completely updated. Everything worked fine until yesterday. No hardware changes (idk why says the graphic card is not compatible, is a Nvidia RTX 3060)
KeepassXC refuses to run
if I click the icon it does nothing, if I try to run it through the console I get this error
qt.glx: qglx\_findConfig: Failed to finding matching FBConfig for QSurfaceFormat(version 2.0, options QFlagsQSurfaceFormat::FormatOption(), depthBufferSize -1, redBufferSize 1, greenBufferSize 1, blueBufferSize 1, alphaBufferSize -1, stencilBufferSize -1, samples -1, swapBehavior QSurfaceFormat::SingleBuffer, swapInterval 1, colorSpace QSurfaceFormat::DefaultColorSpace, profile QSurfaceFormat::NoProfile) qt.glx: qglx\_findConfig: Failed to finding matching FBConfig for QSurfaceFormat(version 2.0, options QFlagsQSurfaceFormat::FormatOption(), depthBufferSize -1, redBufferSize 1, greenBufferSize 1, blueBufferSize 1, alphaBufferSize -1, stencilBufferSize -1, samples -1, swapBehavior QSurfaceFormat::SingleBuffer, swapInterval 1, colorSpace QSurfaceFormat::DefaultColorSpace, profile QSurfaceFormat::NoProfile) Could not initialize GLX
Steam runs, but only minimized on the system tray, it refuses to open a window (I have no errors in a console, yet it does not work properly)
Blender also refuses to work, similarly to keepassXC, clicking the icon does nothing, on the console I got this
Error! GLX\_ARB\_create\_context not available. Error! GLX\_ARB\_create\_context not available. Error! GLX\_ARB\_create\_context not available. Error! GLX\_ARB\_create\_context not available. Error! GLX\_ARB\_create\_context not available. Error! GLX\_ARB\_create\_context not available. Error! GLX\_ARB\_create\_context not available. Error! Unsupported graphics card or driver. A graphics card and driver with support for OpenGL 3.3 or higher is required. The program will now close.
OS: EndeavourOS Fresh Install and updated
The "Launch \<appname\> on start" on the \<appname\> settings does not work
I have this issue with multiple apps (KeepassXC, Steam, Ferdium...) the settings in each app is marked and saved
They work fine, they simply do not launch on system start up
Like 10-15 years ago I was into linux and tried a bunch of different distros (PCLinuxOS, Mint, CentOS, OpenSuse...) and was quite happy with the, then, limited options of gaming on linux (It was the time Valve released TF2 for linux)
But time passed, I got a new PC and didn't bothered install any linux distro (because I got a small HDD and didn't wanted to split it in partitions for linux)
Back then stuff like Proton did not even exists, so today I'm kind of lost and don't know what flavour I should pick, so here I am asking for advice
A couple of relevant details about the hardware, my PC is a little bit old (i7-7700) I hope that's not an obstacle to enjoy gaming on linux I also have an Nvidia graphic card
Also, while most people just use Steam I also use GOG regularly, if that matters

I'm looking a music player focused on local media (stored in my phone's SD card)
I used foobar2000, but I found creating playlist incredibly tedious so I changed to VLC, which is ok, it let me choose a bunch of files and add them to a playlist, but both share the same problem. When I change my SD card for a new one I have to start from the scratch and create all the playlist again, and that's a pain in the ass
So I'm looking for a audio player that let me easily export and import the playlist I create
