Have you read Lenin’s Left-Wing Comminism? He makes a pretty good argument for why communists should run in bourgeois elections.
did a news source cover it?
Yes...BreakThrough News covered it. What are you expecting, the New York Times?
Here you go, a reporter with a different view.
The Columbia School of Public Affairs Palestine working group also posted it along with SJP Columbia.
This did happen today though, Columbia student groups posted about it. Maybe you have it confused with a prior disruption. They have targeted Hillary Clinton repeatedly
Both are extremely important. Widespread transformation of public consciousness doesn’t happen without massive marches in public.

Little late but yeah PSL isn’t a Trot party. I think the misconception is due to them splitting from Workers World Party which started out as Trotskyist.

Considering this is the image of Tiananmen that lives in the western popular consciousness, I think there is real value in deconstructing this myth though. When I learned that western journalists are all in agreement that no massacre took place in the square itself, I became more interested in researching the events myself because other Western views concerning what happened could also be misleading or outright lies

The new episode of the Socialist Program where Brian Becker interviews Ken Hammond, a Marxist professor of Chinese history about his new book. I thought this was a great listen and will pick up the book soon as well. Hammond discusses the evolving Chinese socialist project and pushes back against mainstream Western views on China. Also he counters the tendency of some Marxists to only identify with one of Mao/Deng, instead viewing the economic transformation as a dialectical process that required both approaches. Great to hear from an actual China expert for once.
