Still, no not really. maybe check your emu deck install and make sure it’s installed correctly
i was using this post as a test (using sfw images, mostly wikipedia's logo with the NSFW tag) and decided to remove it after testing. sorry for the confusion
yah, im thinking it might be instance specific setups that are causing it to trip, which might mean that memmy trusts the instance's lemmy-ui maybe a bit more then it should
huh, wierd i wonder if it is instance specific
as the title says if the URL is to a direct link to an image. it is not blurred if post is marked as NSFW. does it both in app store and testflight.
edit:though lemmy.ml seems to be doing it properly (so i have removed the NSFW tag and linked image on this post). it appears it might be instance specific and maybe memmy trusts lemmy-ui a bit much. also i have noticed that a NSFW post will display properly then blur on load in a feed if visable on lemmy.ml
i have start and select as a quit binding (i think its default?) so i guess in a way it always freezes on me but no not really not like that. about the only issue i have is wanting to change controllers or putting the deck asleep while using a bluetooth controller and retroarch not accepting inputs afterwards
i tried to replicate this with super metroid on my steamdeck with 2 of 8bitdo's products and was unable to get it to fail in the same fashion. IMO, it might be worth making sure emudeck (more specifically retroarch) is up to date and that your controller firmware is also up to date or where it should be (8bitdo can have multiple good firmwares depending on what you need it for).
also it is worth noting that retroarch does not like controllers being fiddled with too much
constant framefrate is about the only thing i really need. above 8 fps is considered ok 30 is my standard and 60 if it can do it is great.
fair enough, still worth mentioning that factorio itself supports controllers now 👍
They actually released it recently, there are controller bindings in the settings and you can play with a controller
i recall reading somewhere that the rumble on the steam deck is actually the haptic feedback motors and that is why it is weak
