I play it with my coworkers sometimes because it's the only game where we can play with phone, pc, xbox one, ps4, ps5, and switch in a single party without any issues
I have never had strong opinions about my flashlights. My favourite is a blue one I found that had leds and lasts forever on AA batteries. Never had one with settings all the ones I've used are on/off

This, I used to use Kodi+Serena+realdebrid but it was not as user friendly. Stremio is by far the best option if you just want to watch shows without making a server/ having to actually manage downloads or making it into a project.
You just set it up and use it like any other streaming app
No reason to self host unless you find joy in maintaining a server/ library
Arm broken isn't that Bad tbh, when it happens you get a lot of adrenalin so the initial break isn't that Bad. And then if you're just sitting around with it broken it doesn't really hurt unless you move it.
Source: broke forearm and had to wait a week after to get surgery to put plates in. So I kinda just walked around with a bent arm in a sling for a week
