working on getting into watchmaking, still very new but i have had plenty of time to research. makinbbg the winding stem will be the first time i have used a watch makers lathe but i've worked with industrial machinery before so shouldn't be to foreign to me. Watch i am working on
its a dive watch, the crown actually screws off to wind, set time and date. in short, this wastch wasn't designed with comfort in mind but now they are just a show piece for its goofy look.
Disassembled removed hair and dirt and reassembled. I will do this again so it can soak in cleaning solution before oiling, just measured the watch on a timeagrapher app and its 300 seconds fast, the amplitude is low and beat error is high. Still work to be done.
Also need to source a winding stem or maybe have a go as making one 🤔
