  • I'm Nanticoke dickhead, and no I don't. Living in rural areas this is what you do to survive. Quit pretending to know my conditions.

  • Militant veganism seems to always loop back around to anti-indigenous, glad you noticed it too.

  • You can find me on Matrix as @catfish:genzedong.xyz and you can ask me all the questions you want!

  • I wish we could but sheep are social animals and need to have at least one other sheep buddy to be happy :<

    I have a little sheep plushie at least that is sufficient in cuddlyness and floofyness for when I do start to miss them ;~;

  • I got bad news for you about agriculture in every single AES country then.

  • Their wool doesn't make a lot of money, we were hoping to sell lambs to make a bit more but as it is right now we can't keep them just to sell their wool twice a year because we don't break even with the amount we have to spend on feed, dewormer, minerals, etc..

Edit: I just realized the implication of replacing him with a different ram, but the reason we're not doing that either is because we're about to have a child born on the commune and rams are extremely dangerous.

  • Yeah we're a Marxist agricultural commune in the US. I take care of goats and sheep and shit, might be getting rid of the sheep soon though because the ram is a dangerous asshole and none of the ewes will let him hit which kind of defeats the purpose of having him.

  • I don't have any advice but I'm so happy you were able to love and cherish the time you shared with all of us on Earth. This post brought tears to my eyes and happiness to my heart. :)

  • I'm so excited to go home today. I've spent the holidays with my family and at first it was pleasant but living on the commune I just got so used to all the open space and nature. I feel like I've been trapped in a tiny box for the past month. I can't wait to see my comrades again. 😭

  • it does say you still moderate the traa community lol

  • Self defense air rifle 💀💀💀

  • Welcome back! Good to hear your break went well!

  • The idea that we were warmongers was made up to justify stealing our land. Who was it that welcomed the colonists with open arms until they spat in our ancestor's faces? Our stories talk about war parties going out and coming back home with zero blood shed. What conflicts we did have were extremely low intensity, we didn't have the numbers for the horrific wars like the ones waged against us by the colonists.

Many of the tribes were nomadic, we didn't have oil reserves to war over. We had hunting grounds and fishing spots and art, and just about everyone agreed that these things weren't worth dying for.

  • No, you're thinking of the main antagonist in The Legend of Zelda franchise. Venezuela is trying to annex Gargamel.

  • Yes! The tattoo is loosely based off this art.

  • I got a dope as hell tattoo of a very cool and sweet Chilean riot dog a couple days ago! It's my first tattoo and it is very itchy. I am very paranoid about taking care of it right now, I can't wait for this phase to pass. :)

  • Where did I say none of us actually believe in it? Plenty of people do, especially more traditional folks. When you say that word to someone you're putting SERIOUS bad medicine on them and they're entirely within their rights to be offended. If you go around with this attitude you'll find it hard to make friends with people from other cultures.

  • There are lots of ways to attract it like being greedy, performing or talking about cannibalism, or saying or thinking it's name, probably other stuff. Lot of Native kids grow up horrified of it because it's basically our version of Bloody Mary. Even if I don't believe in it, it still scares me.

I refer to it in the singular yeah, in most stories if it is a spirit there is only one of that kind. I can't speak on the monstrous version but I assume that there can be multiple of them. It's important to remember that there are a lot of different versions of these stories.

  • The W* (which is how you should refer to it because invoking it's name is frowned upon) isn't just some monster horror story. In my tribe and others it is a cannibalistic spirit that may possess you if invoked. That being said there are several tribes where folks do eat their ancestors as a part of their funeral practices.
