As someone that lives in the world you're describing and drives everywhere, you're wrong. Weight doesn't just all of the sudden exist. Walking 40ft instead of 300ft twice a day is not going to make a noticeable difference. Again walking is healthier, but nobody has ever driven, gotten really fat, and then wondered what happened.
How fast do you think weight is gained or how long do you think people spend in cars that gaining an excessive amount of weight is a surprise? No arguments about walking being healthier, but for most people, time in the car isn't that significant.

Some of us are tired of watching gangs (ACAB), Nazis (Musk, Republicans), and other billionaires kill people or use their power to ruin people's lives for personal gain. I don't just say ACAB to be edgy or insulting. I truly mean it with the police force in its current state. Switching names like calling Musk, Mush is a bit too juvenile for me and is just there to be insulting. Sometimes someone will strike gold and I'll chuckle, but for the most part I think it draws from any actual point trying to be made. The more often something like ACAB is thrown out, the more people are going to see it, and it will effect some people, so it's not just wasted comments.
Even if he didn't do anything illegal, Sony has enough money and lawyers to hurt him. Unless a judge threw out any case early, he'd still have to defend himself, which cost money and takes time.
