The only issue i have with this is that right now the patrol spawns are fucked for anything less than a 4 man team. No sooner have you killed one patrol does another one takes its place. Many games you just end up bogged down in a useless firefight as patrols are continually spawned and alerted. When this happens the game doesnt seem to spawn many enemies anywhere else on the map. It becomes trivial to solo the main objective and assure a victory. You just might not extract.

A lot of the anti cop sentiments come from the US where cops are much worse. It seems some australians dont understand that police are trained here for much longer, training is of higher quality and they dont need to worry about the constant threat of handguns or rifles. They just read reddit and facebook and follow the yanks blindly with no critical thought whatsoever, just an angry fantasy.
I believe in this case it wouldnt have made a difference. The officer would and should have chosen lethal force even if they had a taser. There is a greater chance of a failure with a taser vs a handgun and faced with a murderer with a machete? It would be foolish to take that chance.

I get the whole "this isnt new" sentiment but we cant just swap right back to 100% wind power without developing NEW wind propulsion methods. We need to either match the speed of engine powered ships or increase efficiency (like this has).
Unless you want to go back to ships taking many more months or years to cross the ocean like they used to. Being snarky about ships using wind again is completely the wrong attitude to have if we want to make this work.
