Growing up in the NorthWoods, naturally I've seen deer fight. They rear up on their hind legs and kick with their fronts as they come back down. There's about a 50% chance of a mama doe either doing that, or just running. I guarantee if mama decides to fight you're not gonna have a good time

Good. Where I live (upper midwest) we had tons of old growth timber that was completely exhausted in the 1800s. All of our forests now are incredibly young with no chance to mature as they're basically all tree farms now. We need to protect what little old growth forests we have left
