  • TOSLINK might be what you’re thinking of. And yes, it rules! I have a surround system that uses it and it sounds amazing

  • Maybe if your “meme” wasn’t some bullshit about “you can do anything if you really really try” I would take less offense. It’s easy to start a car company when you’re rich

  • Lamborghini was already a successful tractor manufacturer before he started making sports cars.

  • I can't think of a better endorsement than wallstreet parasites being shit scared of him

  • Rats.

    Jump
  • This fella got two FREE hotdogs and he's mad

  • Of course! I should’ve been investing instead of wasting my time in 4th grade. Who would’ve thought?

  • pics @lemmy.world

There's an ominous light coming from the church I went to as a kid. Should I go in?

  • I'm sure we'll hear what he wants to do in two weeks

  • Greece at home has Hot Chicken, which is pretty cool at least

  • I personally like to take short - maybe one week vacations every month. Taking some time to sunbathe in Spain or maybe ski in the alps really helps keep me focused and efficient!

  • He’s the millennial Mr beast

  • “Your suggestion of sending wave after wave of our own men straight into the enemy’s machine guns is such a unique and unconventional tactic! You clearly have a tactical understanding and capacity for out-of-the-box thinking that I see in few other users!

  • I'm rather fond of !dull_mens_club@lemmy.world . You need not be a man, and you post about the dull goings on of your personal life (e.g. "made a ham sandwich today," or "fixed my washing machine over the weekend")

  • Noted, thank you! We’ll make the switch right away

  • Woah, crazy! We’re working on the bathroom as money allows, and that’s one of the things slated to go. It’s so cheap, basically cardboard with a tile pattern

  • Ha ha don’t be impressed, that’s cheap 80’s imitation tile and it’s basically cardboard.

  • Dull Men's Club @lemmy.world

    Installed a toilet this weekend

  • Then go do something about it? Why don't you go carry out the violence that needs to be done instead of playing internet badass and trying to goad other people into doing it? You're no different then the rednecks I overhear at the gas station who want to shoot Joe Biden.

EDIT: After some thought, I want to add that you're not really paying attention to what Trump is doing, or you're an agitator.

Trump REALLY wants violence. He wants it so bad it hurts. Everything he's been doing - tearing down the inner workings of the government, destroying our economy, our relationships with other countries, the meager, if existent at all social safety nets, abducting people off the street, he's trying to push people to the breaking point. He wants us violent and scared. From the assassination attempt on the campaign trail to the June 14th protests, he looks for any excuse to play the victim. Hell, look at the LA protests! He was so eager to crack skulls, he jumped the gun and commandeered California's national guard and the Marines before anything of substance really happened. By the time Saturday rolled around, he already played his hand and couldn't cry "insurrection!" like he was trying to do a few days earlier. Instead he had to let it happen and sulk in his shitty impotent parade. He looked powerless and weak, probably the biggest blow to his ego yet. Peaceful protest is working. We're proving that Trump has no mandate, has no interest in anyone but himself, and we're not going to take it anymore. It's getting too big to ignore and sweep under the rug. And the best part is, that he can't declare an "emergency" and just take power. He may still try, but it will look far less legitimate than if he were to do so while people are burning the streets

  • When all this is over, every single Trump enabler needs to be disbarred or otherwise have their professional credentials permanently revoked
