Me in the same shower, wondering the same thing at age 40...
Wow that's a long shower.
At least they had company for ten years
tankless lyfe
It never ends, my friend.
Yup. 40 year old here plotting a major career shift, but I don't know into what.
Favourite ever webcomic relates well to this.

Obviously it isn’t easy but you have a ton of life left to live how you want to
Thank you for posting that. I really needed to see that today.
Edit: I think you meant to post 2012-09-02, right?
Yep, I fixed the link, thanks!
I like most of SMBC but this is by far my favourite
I like this. Life isn't easy though, none of them are. Spend my first life mastering trucking. Was absolutely done with it at the end, but there were fun times too. Went back to college at 33 to start my second life mastering programming. Now I'm about to finish my bachelor and really looking forward to starting a career. I'm convinced that this won't be my last life, but I haven't clue what my next life will look like.
I get it. But it isn't comforting or paying the bills.
Because I'm cold in a homeless shelter.
It's a hoverbike.
Because...
Because hoverbike!
Can relate.
The exact quote that came to my mind. So glad I was shown this back in high school
Me in the shower in my late 20's watching all the remaining open doors to possibly achieve my dreams close right in front of my eyes (because my dreams need money/food to happen) 😭
Go to college. Take 1 class. Find a community. Find a different one. Or another different one. Find people you like who like you.

I'm finishing my third degree this semester lol.

Okay but first I need to get money to eat, sleep, exist, etc. without being harassed by the cops, because all resources are paywalled.
What are your dreams?
For the above two, more than straight-up money, I really need space to set up a studio, and free time to do it. I even have enough gear to get back into it once I get space. But to get space, I need money. I also need money to fabricate PCBs for the types of boards I want to build (lots of mixed-signal stuff that a breadboard could mess with).
Thats me 10 years ago. In half a year iam finishing my masters degree, yay!
That O irks me. It should be 0.
Literally me.
Well, except I thought I had the answer at one point, but now I’m disillusioned and jaded
43, still don't know.
I want to scream at me in college to not choose tech as backup because what the fuck is going on right now I just want my first big boy job bro
Then you get out the shower, and it's america (ಠ㉨ಠ)▂▂⌇
I just wanna be happy
