Im surprised that some may consider this fact little-known. The privatisation and exploitation of housing convicts has been discussed for decades. Everything from outrageous phone fees to slave labor, it's been happening in plain sight for a very long time.
- I think it's lesser known by people that have spent the last 10-20 years with their fingers in their ears.
