Is using cfdisk cheating?
- No it's not. archinstall isn't cheating, either :)

  if you want to use it to judge someones knowledge and ability to use documentation, I‘d ask if they have installed arch, by hand, at least once. Calling using automation cheating is assuming they mean „by hand“ which probably isnt fair.
What the heck is archinstall?
- A couple years ago they approved a curated script, that’s now bundled with the iso. If you already know your install flow, this won’t really add anything to your experience. I’d still recommend the official way
  
  Oh I thought that was an April fools joke! I'm pretty sure I saw something about it on April 1st on the homepage. Had no idea it was a real thing.

Curiously I did the same days ago when I ditched Fedora 40 because of problems, my CPU was 90% when opened Super Tux lol so I finally tryed out Arch (btw). Wish me luck
