Employees are being offered the ‘party drug’ through company health schemes as psychedelic-assisted therapy grows in popularity. Just some good old capitalist innovation in action.
I read an article a month or two ago that talked about the sons of the upper classes in the UK, and there ketamine habits; some would do 2-3gs of it in one night.
They now piss out of bags, as ketmaine destroys the bladder and makes you piss yourself involuntarly with repeated use.
Cant wait till the next gen of capitalist casualities can be identified by there piss bags at the age of 30.
When I clicked the article, I expected MDMA, or cocaine, or LSD, but definitely not Ketamine. Never in my life have I heard of Ketamine being called a “Party drug”, and why would it be? It’s a tranquilizer and puts you to sleep. Who’s partying while they’re asleep?
Its used because its dissicioative, trippy and provides a week or so relief to depression.
It has some nasty side effects though, especially with prolonged use, personally i've done it once or twice but the risk profile is too high for it to be something anyone does with any amount of regularity.
It used to be used in afghanistan to treat gunshot wounds, it has the effect of dissociating you so hard you forget you've been shot.
