Hackers are Attacking Observatories

On August 1, 2023, hackers broke into Gemini North telescope computers. The incident has shutdown observatory operations there and in Chile.

I wonder what was in the sky that someone didn't want seen. Or if people are just dicks.
- Both can be true but just sticks is always an answer. Maybe not the only one, but always a correct answer.
My guess is they’re looking for “secret evidence” of some kind.
