What is the worst type of guy?

I'll go first - those dudes who go out to nightlife areas to ask women extremely sexual questions on camera

And then the dude looks at the camera with some look like "damn, did you see that, that was epic," when to any regular person the whole thing was extremely awkward and the girl was clearly uncomfortable the whole time. I guess there's a lot of overlap with the PUA scene, but one of those videos popped up in my recommended and I thought damn, of all the shitty guys out there, those are some of the worst.

  i want them to do the mushrooms, its good for them, i just want them to stop insisting that we all need to do mushrooms too. I love shrooms, I did not need them to realize that other people are just like me and have feeling just like I do. I realized that at like 11, pretty sure most not cis het white people do as well. they just need to proselytized to people who aren't me I guess.

- Weird how invested people get once they've "reached a higher plane" and experienced ego death, now they go around preaching to everyone how they need to experience ego death and "get on their level" and act with a smug sense of superiority and condescension towards anyone who isn't "open minded enough to see past their ego" and shit.

The worst type is the cis straight white wealthy ones. As you remove adjectives from that list the guy tends to be (but isn't always unfortunately) better. It increases the odds anyway.

As a white, masc-presenting guy myself, I've had a number of them try to talk to me about their exploits. They assume that everyone else is as sordid as themselves

It's a personal gripe, yeah, but I think that kind of thinking happens early where children use that to expect things from other men.
Boys grow up expecting not to do emotional labor and assume that women/femme people would. Women and femme people then have the whole financial disadvantage of not being cis men plus having to deal with cis men who think they have the easy work.
- At the age when people my age having kids is getting common. So many stories about new dads not doing anything around the house while the new mom works all day then takes care of all household chores. My cousin's husband wasn't left alone to care for their first born until like 5 months in.

There's some good answers here but one of my least favourite gender-nonspecific guys (but tbh they most often turn out to be in the demographic of <30yo white western guys, shockingly) who think that skimming a Wikipedia entry is substitute for actual study and/or serious engagement with a topic. ("Wait, cypress is a country!?" moment.)
These guys reduce everything down to a single cause, often one that is deeply rooted in idealism and great man theory, and they fail to acknowledge the other moving parts of history/society/the environment etc. that influence behaviour and actions and historical events.
It's all deeply moralistic and they just seek out a reaffirmation of their own pre-existing biases.
It's not uncommon for me to encounter these people where they'll literally point to a study or a source which directly disproves the claim that they are making. The worst are the ones who, even when I explain to them how their sources contradict their conclusions, will refuse this and dig their heels in and do the "Nuh-uh, that's just, like, your opinion man..." routine because they cannot possibly fathom that the evidence would run counter to their preconceived ideas so they must be right based on vibes alone.
There's a couple of studies that have been encrusted into mainstream opinion based on terrible pop-science "journalism" that really boil my piss. That one study on how "most of the plastic in the ocean comes from Asia"? Yep, completely misconstrued.
But we've all seen images of rivers filled with plastic from South East Asia and Chiner bad!! so, of course, it's those damn Orientals wrecking up the place for us good, honest westerners again. Typical.
I really hate it.

- oh yeah, and i know talking about mansplaining and shit is out of fashion, but in my experience it is always men. i'm in a science, i have a masters degree, and yet still constantly men try to explain my field to me (sometimes even men whom i know and thought would be a little smarter and/or less sexist about that sort of thing) because they've read a fucking wiki page or listened to a podcast. there's never any thought put into the idea of sources or biases or just the simple fact that even when wiki pages are right they're still condensing decades of study into one page.
  the amount of "dark matter is bullshit", "don't worry, we'll technology our way out of climate change", "you know, scientists are all getting paid to say this stuff", "scientists don't actually know [whatever]" that i have to deal with is insanity inducing. absolute worst guy, and even worse when combined with socioeconomic/political biases

But I have real trouble dealing with the new macho tiktok zoomers. Hopefully they'll mellow out, but had an apprentice cursed out women and receptionists because she made a harmless joke (but more likely for being attractive and clearly not attracted to him).
They're not a new kind of guy, but at least I don't have to overhear epic owns of woke liberals tiktoks in the lunch room when they're milennials or older.
