Sync for Lemmy Beta 102 release notes

New

Added scaled + controversial sorts (scaled sort is missing #466)

Changes

Updated the settings text to remove Sort from Post options (now under Account Settings)
Added the option to upload nsfw content again

Other fixes

Fixed a crash for badly formatted user tags
Fixed a crash when updating a user display name that contains '
Fixed an issue where clicking save under Account Settings would cause the button to show again

This is exciting and it's great to have you back, churning out the updates and kicking ass as bugs get noted. Thank you for being so responsive when you can be here!

How does one sign up for the beta?
- It is all beta.
  
  The version number in the play store certainly is not '101'
- discord. but the slots were offered during the early days.

I'm getting a bug where swiping to return from something (like this comment section) makes the app go black. It does return me to the previous screen, so it's fully functional, but the effect is a bit jarring.
Only when swiping back. Pressing the back button behaves as it does normally
- Looking into this. Can't reproduce at all at the moment.
  
  I'm on a Samsung with OneUI 6 if that helps. Can't give any more info at the moment!

- Still can't reproduce this but I've logged it and will pop over to the samsung store to try to replicate the issue!

  Cool! It wasn't there before the OneUI 6 update.

Can you add controversial sort to profile pages too please? Call me a masochist but I'm curious which of mine were most divisive.

- Just updating as there was newer versions available.

  Wakelocks, Sync for Lemmy prevents my phone from sleeping.
  As a workaround I have my app set up as "restricted" in the battery settings, if I change it to "optimized" it starts behaving like that.
  This issue has been occuring to me with all AOSP roms, with MIUI/HyperOS it doesn't happen.

Sync for reddit had twitter previews right? any chances it can be implemented in Sync for lemmy too?
- I don't see how that can work anymore since Twitter doesn't allow anonymous viewing of content

Swipe voting comments still shows reddit voting color scheme. Posts have updated to the lemmy color scheme, though. If there's a toggle for this, I can't find it.
