His accuracy didn't wow in the bengals drive. I think the offense is going to go because the line and run game are going to be so good and play action is going to give us shot plays. If the passing game turns out to be a strength that would be a bit of a surprise to me.
Which if I'm being honest is just fine with me, and I think it's fine with the Packers, too.
We've been watching a roster overhaul happen the past 3 years, converting the team to a defense and run game first construction. My personal feeling is that a lot of the dysfunction we have seen during that time period has been Rodgers struggling to adjust his style of play to match a team whose makeup was changing to one not centered around otherworldly QB play.
I think the FO fully realized the odds of them landing a third tier 1+ QB in a row approached zero, so they wanted to tool for a team that could be successful with someone who is just a guy a QB. If love turns out to be more than that, great. But I think they intend to contend even if he is just someone that can hand the ball off and complete <10 yard dump passes.
As someone who has been watching the team for over 30 years, it's honestly exciting. And I will take any indication that our offense can be remotely successful as a big win.
