This anime is my 2nd dark horse of the season (the other being Villainess Level 99).
This episode alone raised to 9/10, with potential to be a 10/10 depending on the ending. More romance anime (and IRL too, I guess) couples should learn to communicate openly like them.
Perhaps it is because I don't watch a sufficient number of romance animes, but to date I can count on one hand anime couples who are like this in terms of communication (before Cherry Magic):
- Skip and Loafer
- The 100 girlfriends who really, really, really, really, REALLY love you
- Gundam: The Witch from Mercury (late stage)
- Kaguya-sama: Love is War (late stage)
- The Dangers in my Heart (partially)
To think that I was so close to dropping Cherry Magic early on...
P.S. IMO the screenshot is too much of a spoiler for anyone who have yet to watch this episode.

Oh yeah Villainess Level 99 is my favourite of this season for sure.
Also thanks for pointing out the screenshot being a spoiler. I made this post pretty much as soon as I finished watching the episode and as you can probably tell, my brain wasn't quite working correctly.

I'M SCREAMING AAAAAAAA
I really like this kind of romance anime. The telepathy thing didn't drag on for multiple episodes with miscommunication everywhere and they handled it like adults.
Also cutest couple fr the way they still seem inexperienced and treat each other with such care and consideration. My heart feels so full ❤️
