I remember when Vice was "bleeding-edge-unwavering-unapologetic-raw-insert-other-catchy-adjective news! The stories no one else has the genitals to cover!"
I never personally thought that but I'm pretty sure that's what they wanted other people to think.
- I remember when Vice didn’t even pretend to be news. They were just a free edgelord lifestyle magazine. Those were the days.
  
  I still thought that. No idea they were ever considered a legitimate news medium.
- Gosh same; part owned by Disney might have something to do with that

Maybe for profit journalism isn’t the best model. Anyone have a solution?
