It's astonishing how the US concedes so much power and treasure to Israel and receives nothing but blame and ignominy in return.

That is a remarkably uninformed statement. Israel is a center of cutting-edge research and leading production. Name any field from biotech to semiconductors, from robotics to defense and there's likely an Israeli research institute or startup at the forefront. That's a huge asset to have. American tanks would not have a missile defense system without Israel, Intel's computer chips would be significantly slower and the entire global drone industry, both civilian and military, would be set back by many years if it wasn't for this small nation, just to name a few examples.
So much power and treasure? The amount spent on arms sent to Israel is not even a rounding error compared to the entire federal budget. Power? Netanyahu can huff and puff all he wants, Israel is clearly acting within tight limits set by the US.

USA doesn't use stupid things like Iron dome to protect against homemade unguided rockets, the Trophy system has been repeatedly defeated by Hamas with regular old RPG-7s, Intel would just be buying fron TSMC , China has been making both cheaper and superior drone technology for like a decade now with notable use in Ukraine, and Israel eats 0.05% (3.3bil) of the federal budget in defense aid.
This is a country built on foreign investment and geopolitical aid، even after the time they blatantly attacked a US ship.
Israel would economically collapse if the USA ended all relations tomorrow. It exists solely as an economic and miliary asset to the USA which is why they protect it so much.

Also no other country wastes expensive guided munitions on targeting civilians and disregarding hostages lmao. I could clown on the effectiveness of the IDF by itself all day. They only look good because they outshine the non-existent competency of the militaries of its neighbors.

China is fkin scared all this ruckus will draw attention in the end to its own treatment of the Muslims in its own country. Nothing more. They don’t give a fk on Palestine or it’s Muslim inhabitants.
I think it could be more related to the fact that China is one of the 139 of the 193 United Nations (UN) member states have recognized the State of Palestine. Since 1988.

Because Israel is a buffer to Iran and other terrorist organizations in the region.
