Well, sure they're called Men Without Hats.
There's only one hat there.
- What I see is a man with a hat and a man without hat, so technically it's not men (plural) without hats (plural), it's man with hat and man without hat.
- We're called the no Homer*S club, we're allowed to have 1!*

Men without hats are just men with hats, without hats.
