One of the good thing that came out of the Ukraine War was the fact Russia and the DPRK have got really close since both got sanctioned. I guess it means Russia can do trade normally with the DPRK.
Yeah, this is huge for DPRK because US can no longer choke them economically. Russia is a commodities powerhouse, so I expect things are going to be looking up in DPRK from here on out.
The west really fucked the dog with those sanctions. They didn't force Russia to their knees, they forced Russia to build a viable alternative to western finance and trade, heralding the beginning of the end of western hegemony.
I've read about visiting the DPRK; apparently they won't stamp your passport because they know it'll cause you problems when you leave (back to the states), and for non-Americans, they don't get their passports stamped so they can visit the US without issues; at least I think this was the case, as I'm sure I read about that on a website dedicated to arranging tourist visits to the DPRK.
Wait, those stamps actually effect travel? I thought they were like cute little “hey, you made it!” markers. Like a collection or something, I didn’t think you’d be penalized for having a stamp from a “bad” country…
