Before There Was ‘Barbie,’ There Was ‘The Lego Movie’

I think it was a big mistake to use Will Ferrell in Barbie.
Every time he was onscreen I was thinking about how this is another Toy Movie and if they were going to try to explicitly tie them together or something.
Drew me out of the movie as the absurdity made it hard to stay focused on the plot in the first place.
I agree. His role and the fact that the Mattel leadership was so over the top kinda destroyed the whole concept that it was the real worlda as opposed to Barbie world.
