Users notice that Zoom changes privacy policy to expressly allow them to use your private Zoom chats, video calls and other services to train A.I. and this IS NO OPT OUT.
There is always a free and open source alternatives to this garbage. Imagine if the government funded these open source projects. Jitsi is a good open source alternative to zoom. It's rough around the edges, but a good funding can turn it around to be better than zoom. That way, even the government can use it and doesn't have to deal with zoom's privacy nightmare.
I absolutely agree with you, I dislike the way they are going about it completely.
I don't use zoom, and probably never will, but as article points out, this is not a new concept, it happens every day.
Without federal protections this is and will be our future and our rights will continuously be eroded away. Humans are income streams that are going to be exploited at every opportunity.
