I really love the first one but it all went downhill from there. I know I'm obviously not the target audience but boy do I wish they stopped doubling down on minions every scene and bring back heartfelt moments that the first had.

I know minions get a lot of hate online but for me, besides the heartfelt story of the first movie and Trey Parker’s performance in the third; the stupid slapstick humor of the minions are the only redeemable part of the series. I have young kids that watch these movies on repeat though
