I think this headline got it wrong: If MS wants to do business with Europe, they have to follow our privacy laws or face hufe fines and ultimately the boot (which would benefit nobody).
It has nothing to do with GDPR, I promise. I came up with it on my own because I care about the data of our....I mean the data privacy of our customers.
They LET us KEEP our data.

They let us GIVE them our data, and all their software makes us generous with it.
Because of the CLOUD Act this won't matter.
