And a bandaid over bad broken business models, and a bandaid over technical debt.
Can confirm. I'm seeing sales and upper management people in my company bullshitting to gullible clients with all sorts of made up stuff involving the use of AI.
With considerably larger carbon footprint and water consumption than doing it the right way.
