Hey all! Im a noob in all of this and need some advice to understand better. I always had backblaze computer backup product and it worked fine plus was super easy but wanted a cheaper solution. So recently I signed up for B2 Backblaze and installed Mountain duck on my machine and started backing up.
Now my mac created the cloud storage 'bucket' folder on the sidebar and I have been syncing and copying files from my local hard drive to the cloud storage manually. Should I directly work and save files inside the bucket folder folder and work from it? What happens if I dont have an internet connection? Im a bit confused here. thanks
Cheaper than Backblaze personal that's a first in this sub. Yea, I guess it is possible if you don't have too much to save, anyway just use rclone with B2 (or any other service that supports it, it's generally the best option by far).
Cheaper than backblaze Personal? There is B2 or Wasabi but it also depends on the amount of data you have. Regarding the issue if you don't have an internet connection, Backblaze Personal has limited version history but you can expand it: https://www.backblaze.com/cloud-backup/features/extended-version-history
