It's not a small amount in Russia outside of Moscow. It's just an average salary in Moscow thought (middle class management).
Yeah, even just risking own life for that pay... Idk how deranged a human being have to be to do such a thing. Like jobs with high risks are fine with a good salary but going on a war and making this little is just beyond my understanding.
It's pretty indefensible, BUT... some people are very uneducated, brainwashed by state media, and have literally no other way of making that kind of money in their current circumstance. There aren't THIS many evil people in the world. But poor uneducated people? PLENTY! And if you're rich and evil you can get some of them to do absolutely anything, because they kinda cannot afford not to. At least one of these guys did it cause someone back home has cancer and they can't afford the treatment.
That being said, they all need to die. Every last Wagner mercenary, every last Russian who's worn a uniform in this conflict, still serving or not. Kill them all. We don't have plenty of schools, but we've got plenty of motherfucking ordinance. Let them get their GED in Hell.
