Iran-Russia set a western trap in Palestine

All of the legwork was done by Israel - they trapped themselves. If Iran or Russia played a role it was a relatively minor one.
- "Never interrupt your enemy when they are making a mistake."
  
  I think attributing this to a ploy by Iran and Russia undermines the agency and accomplishment of the Palestinian people in this endeavor.
