Looks like I've managed to escape a nightmare. Was thinking of purchasing one of their Laptops recently.

They run like a pyramid scheme too. Constantly announcing and opening pre orders for new products before the old ones ship or come close to being a finished/complete product.
Scamming company, or grossly incompetent company? I would give them the benefit of the doubt and tend to think it's the latter, but I didn't really follow what was going on with them.

Looked at their Kickstarter way back , glad I didn't jumped on that !
Purism is not a scam. I have three products from them. Two L13 and on L5 Although the products are not as good as Apple for the attempt to educate and offer an alternative for the mass digital surveillance purism are amazing.
