The freestar ranger quest leads me into a Lvl30 star system, but I'm just Lvl15. Should I go there?

For now, I have refrained from going to this system. Is it better to sit until I'm higher level, or should I just go anyways? I'm not enjoying fighting enemies at a much higher level than I am.
