Did you you notice the second "you" in the title of this post? How do you feel about (not) noticing it?

Nothing in particular. Just yet another example of the brain's biological self-correcting algorithms.

At uni, a teacher of mine once wrote on the blackboard:

and then had a bunch of people read it out loud. I didn't get to read it out but the entire time this was going on I was sitting there, questioning my sanity because none of the people chosen to read seemed to notice the second "the".

That said, I've had a few glasses so fuck you.

I love this. Between the people who didn't notice it the same way I absolutely would not have, and the people who just say what obviously was intended, this could go forever and drive a couple of people absolutely insane.

I feel like a well oiled reading machine.

I did see the Invisible Gorilla when the teacher showed us right away somehow. That is to say, I'm long familiar with this detail of how our brains work :)

It's additionally funny because the title on the webpage doesn't pick up the 2nd "the".

Missed it.

I got tripped up around "the second" and had to backtrack so either I subconciously read ahead or I noticed the fault. Either way, heck you buddy.

Fine, actually. As non native english speaker is a win win to me.

I don't really read so much as skim, skipping the filler words. So, what I read is "Did you notice second title post?"

I'm don't recommend reading this way because I miss important details frequently.
