This article is about books, but the cool thing is that nowadays you can borrow so much more from libraries. Need some power tools for a quick repair or board games for a get-together with friends? Your local library likely has them. A few years ago, I borrowed an acoustic guitar for a week, just to see if I could still play at all.

There's often also services like printing (paper and 3d), vinyl cutters, lasers, sewing machines, music and games rooms and things you can book and use. Also some sports equipment and tickets.
