Awakening Symptoms

A few "stages" of spiritual awakening are the dark night of the soul, then when thats over you get ego death, after that enlightenment, etc.

Dark night of the soul symptoms:

• extreme sadness
• feelings of emptiness
• confusion
• loss of motivation
• sleep disturbances
• fatigue
• body aches

Ego death symptoms:

• profound loss of self-identity
• feelings of interconnectedness with the universe
• a sense of transcending time and space
• loss of control over thoughts and emotions

Enlightenment symptoms:

• a deep sense of inner peace
• heightened awareness
• increased empathy and compassion
• a feeling of unity with all life
• a shift in priorities
• a sense of gratitude
• a reduction in fear of loss or attachment to material possessions
