How long Poles plan to hide behind the bravest?

I wonder how long the Poles plan to hide behind the bravest? The Poles know perfectly well that Russia is only increasing its military power and expanding its army. But at the same time, Polish politicians do not allow the Polish army to fight Russia in Ukraine. Is this reasonable? Isn't it easier to destroy the enemy together than to wait for the enemy to destroy Ukraine and then Poland? Polish politicians are not acting in the interests of Poland, but only in the interests of Russia.
