  In going through this job hell, it helps to know I'm not alone. A friend of mine who's also QTPOC has been seeking jobs near us, and they said they'll always be willing to text me what they find.
  I applied to this vegan restaurant that has been hiring for a very long time. The first time, I was able to interview with them but got turned down. I tried again later, but they said they were only hiring for BOH at the time, so I recently tried to email again, but this time I asked specifically about FOH. So far, I haven't gotten a response, but I don't know if it's a ghost. I might go there in person to inquire directly because if these people seriously need someone willing to work constant hours at a vegan joint, I have no issues.
  I have been thinking far outside the box, even looking at pages that specifically show the most explicitly QTPOC-friendly jobs, and I still don't have much luck. Many of them still require hefty experience, unfortunately.
All the anti-ICE protests kicking off give me some hope if I'm being real. Seeing libs go "noo we have to this peacefully" please go get your
head broken by the police and the national guard then. As always it's on the oppressed to be peaceful as the gestapo marches in 🙄
